This April we will have a very special Club Anvil workers’ party experience for you — a Friday night hullabaloo which actually falls into the month of May!

That’s right! We are going to take advantage of May Day, the official start to Spring Proper, falling on a Friday and stretching the boundaries of conventional bourgeois timekeeping — nay, toying with the very structure of reality like the Minkowskian wizards of space-and-time that we are — to stretch April into May. Call it April 31st if you like! May, schmay, it’s all a social convention anyway. Suddenly Fridays are Thursdays so why not rock the boat some more? We know what we think about social conventions, don’t we, darlings?

So you will have your day off on Friday, all day to keep adding more make-up, to mayhaps get a bit tipsy in the afternoon (or nurse your hangover, if you’re into that kind of thing) — and then come experience the five-hour climax on our dancefloor, with fellow party members galore, a supreme musical atmosphere, a personal revolution and a very public jamboree rolled into one! It’s a new era, baby, see you in the future!
